NEXA Music
NEXA Music is a first-of-its-kind initiative by NEXA. It’s about finding new inspirations. Discovering emerging talent. Celebrating and creating new and original English compositions of international standard in India by celebrated and emerging artists.
NEXA Music | Lab is a platform where emerging artists from all over India will upload their original English compositions. A jury comprising of A. R. Rahman and Clinton Cerejo will pick the top 24 participants, mentor them and create original international Music in India. Out of the 24 emerging artists, the jury will further select the top 4 emerging artists and create 4 additional Music videos that will be released internationally.
- Entry for the contest is open to all individuals who are citizens of India.
- The minimum age limit to participate is 13 (thirteen) years or above as of 16th January 2019.
You need to submit an original English composition. The entry, which you need to upload is not limited to Contemporary, Pop, Jazz, Fusion etc. However, make sure your track/song is not offensive to anyone and follows the Terms and Conditions.
If you don’t want to share your original song with the public, then you can send your entries by writing an email to nexamusicauditions@gmail.com & nexamusichunt@qyuki.com with the subject NEXA Music Auditions with your name, phone number, email id, and the mp3, .wav format of your song as an attachment, file size should not be more than 5 MB.
- The NEXA Music | Labs will accept entries from the 16th Jan 2019 till 28th February 2019.
